Ces disques sont\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">largement consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0d\u2019\u00eatre plus fiables que les SSD grand public et les disques durs d\u2019entreprise tout au long de leur dur\u00e9e de vie, en particulier dans\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00e0 long terme<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0fonctionnement. Il s'agit de l'indicateur le plus pertinent pour la planification de la capacit\u00e9 et de la maintenance d'un centre de donn\u00e9es.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-066a2aa elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"066a2aa\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong><span class=\"\">Temps moyen entre deux pannes (<a href=\"\/fr\/news\/ssd-reliability-what-is-mtbf\/\"><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">MTBF<\/span><\/a>)<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">\u00a0\u2013 correspond \u00e0 une estimation probabiliste de la dur\u00e9e moyenne de fonctionnement entre deux pannes sur une vaste population. L\u2019\u00e9tude a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">le taux de renouvellement annuel moyen (ARR) pour l'ensemble du parc \u00e9tait de 0,221 TP6T, mais avec de fortes variations d'un mod\u00e8le \u00e0 l'autre, allant de 0,071 TP6T \u00e0 1,21 TP6T<\/span><span class=\"\">. L'\u00e9tude a port\u00e9 sur des disques \u00e9quip\u00e9s de diff\u00e9rents types de m\u00e9moire NAND (SLC, cMLC, eMLC et 3D TLC) provenant de\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">trois constructeurs et 18 mod\u00e8les<\/span><span class=\"\">.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">Les erreurs SCSI ont \u00e9t\u00e9 la principale cause des remplacements de disques durs, repr\u00e9sentant environ un tiers de l'ensemble des remplacements.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6d69883 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"6d69883\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><span class=\"\">Des donn\u00e9es historiques plus anciennes provenant des principaux op\u00e9rateurs de cloud, couvrant la p\u00e9riode 2014-2015, indiquent des taux plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s : Google a fait \u00e9tat d\u2019un taux de d\u00e9faillance annuel (AFR) compris entre 1 et 2,51 TP6T pour ses premiers disques flash, Microsoft a enregistr\u00e9 des valeurs comprises entre 1 et 21 TP6T sur plus d\u2019un million de SSD, et Facebook a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 un AFR de 1,331 TP6T pour son parc de disques flash. Ces chiffres incluent des disques plus anciens et des mod\u00e8les proches de ceux destin\u00e9s au grand public. C<\/span><span class=\"\">Les mod\u00e8les d'entreprise actuels affichent des performances nettement sup\u00e9rieures<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0que celles de cette \u00e9poque.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1f88693 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1f88693\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Facteurs cl\u00e9s influen\u00e7ant les taux de d\u00e9faillance<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ff96076 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ff96076\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Contrairement aux disques durs (HDD), o\u00f9 l'usure m\u00e9canique est \u00e0 l'origine de la plupart des pannes, la fiabilit\u00e9 des SSD d\u00e9pend de quatre facteurs principaux.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5625f4f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5625f4f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong><span class=\"\">Technologie Flash NAND. <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">Les diff\u00e9rents types de m\u00e9moire flash NAND pr\u00e9sentent des niveaux de fiabilit\u00e9 intrins\u00e8ques variables.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">En g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, la fiabilit\u00e9 est class\u00e9e par ordre d\u00e9croissant comme suit : SLC, eMLC\/MLC, 3D TLC et QLC.<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0La technologie TLC 3D moderne, dot\u00e9e d'un syst\u00e8me de correction d'erreurs LDPC et d'un syst\u00e8me avanc\u00e9 de r\u00e9partition de l'usure, offre\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">a r\u00e9duit l'\u00e9cart de fiabilit\u00e9<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0avec la technologie MLC pour la plupart des cas d'utilisation en entreprise. Les SSD QLC sont mieux adapt\u00e9s aux charges de travail \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de lecture et au stockage inactif en raison de leur endurance en \u00e9criture plus faible.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9e8b31b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9e8b31b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong><span class=\"\">\u00c9crire \u00ab Charge de travail \u00bb et \u00ab Endurance \u00bb. <\/span><\/strong><span class=\"\">Les SSD d'entreprise sont class\u00e9s selon\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00c9critures par jour sur le disque (DWPD)<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0, allant de\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">1 DWPD pour les charges de travail \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 de lecture<\/span><span class=\"\">\u00a0\u00e0\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">Plus de 10 DWPD pour les applications \u00e0 forte intensit\u00e9 d'\u00e9criture<\/span><span class=\"\">. Dans le cas de charges de travail sous-estim\u00e9es,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"\">L'usure de la m\u00e9moire NAND n'est pas la principale cause de d\u00e9faillance de la plupart des SSD d'entreprise<\/span><span class=\"\">.
